Our completely safe and easy to install Vulcan system offers the least expensive solution with the capability to automatically power critical home loads during peak hours. Depending on your utility rate structure, peak demand charges can represent a significant portion of your utility bill. Electricity rates have risen 15% since 2009 and are expected to increase 2.5%-3.5% annually. The Vulcan can be used to automatically power home appliances during peak hours and charge the system for use during off peak hours, potentially saving 50% on electricity costs.
Efficient home solar storage — If you are considering installing solar panels, pair them with the Vulcan and plug them directly into Vulcan’s native solar panel connectors. If you already have solar panels installed, Vulcan can be AC coupled to store excess energy generated by solar panels for later use or when more electricity is needed (evenings and cloudy days). Use a generator transfer switch with our built-in 30A automatic transfer switch (ATS) to wire Vulcan into your house breaker panel or subpanel. This will automatically keep critical circuits operating during blackouts without manual intervention.
