Safety Embedded in Every Layer of Our Energy Systems

We partner with leading suppliers and adhere to industry standards, such as IEC and UL standards, for all hardware components and subsystems. For our Vulcan Energy System, we use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFeP04), which is among the safest, longest-lasting, and most inexpensive battery technologies in the world. LiFePO4 has excellent thermal and chemical stability so the batteries stay cool in higher temperatures. They are incombustible, even if mishandled or when there are short circuit issues. LiFePO4 batteries will not overheat, burn or explode during overcharging. They are also nontoxic and easily recycled.

• Vulcan expansion batteries are hot-swappable for decreased system downtime and incorporate short circuit and overvoltage protection
• Vulcan batteries are low-voltage DC, avoiding the dangers that come with high-voltage DC power
• Vulcan features automatic restart after overload, over-temperature, or battery depletion conditions
• 200A-BMS Safety electronics ensures maximum performance and protection from overload, overheating and over-discharge
